Dr. Dr. Crash and Dr. Trash of m-a-u-s-e-r (micro architecture unit star energy ray) brings light into most complicated issues. They are the leader in an innovative approach to analytical investigation, which is called jetistics.
Jetistics reports revealing details and secrets of world’s most important periodical publications dealing with junk data. As evidence, the exhibition tracks and compares changes over time, showing overall trends and local details, analyzing patterns and breaks of junk.
What you see is what you jet: junk data, statistical landscapes, golden rate graphs, bumps charts, purchase waves, classical façade, trend analysis, random walks, empirical measurements, data paths, dot-dash plots.
Jetistics took place in the neo-neo-classicist Soldman Gachs Headquarters designed by m-a-u-s-e-r.

The analyzed top junk magazines of the world are Если (Esli), Fate, Galatasaray, Junk Jet, ニコラ (Nicola), Новости космонавтики (Novosti Kosmonavtiki), 宠物世界 狗迷 (Pet in the World. Dog Fans), Πτήση & Διάστημα (Ptisi & Diatsima) and Something Wicked.
Six different indexes, which helped to rate the junk magazines:
1. mischief index analyzes the width in relation to the height of the magazines.
winner: in this mischief index is: fate with a ratio of 1.5
loser: galatasaray with 1.2
2. the big mac index shows the relation of prices of the analyzed magazines.
winner: esli with 1 dollar 80
loser: novostiki kosmonavtiki with 19 dollars
3. the senority index not only gives insight into the age of magazines, but also into their tradition.
winner: fate with 62 years
loser: junk jet with 3 years
4.the reproduction index tells about the magazine’s frequency, the creativity, the energy, and the fastness of their makers.

5. the route index visualizes the circulation of the magazines as distance when put next to each other.

“A jet aircraft, as you know, is an aircraft propelled by jet engines. Jet aircraft generally fly much faster than propeller-powered aircraft and at higher altitudes — as high as 50,000 ft. in means of transportation theory the jet is a big success. in the seventies, the concorde, a turbojet-powered supersonic passenger airliner was another milestone. concorde flew regular transatlantic flighs from London and Paris to New York profitably flying these routes at record speeds, in less than half the time of other airliners. of course, it also turned out to be junk, although producing strong desire of Russian secret service. Actually there was a russian version of the concorde, called Tupulev Tu 144, Konkordski in slang. it was even more junk.
now, we are not talking about the the aircraft industry, although it makes us flux worldwide. we are talking about transportation in connection with architecture. we could also say, we are interested in architectural delivery skills, which are contained in all kinds and of media and forms. these media are of course magazines, which are highly advanced techniques of transportation. obviously junk is also not far from them, which is interesting, as there can be observed most, in observing the transportation of junk. we analyzed the top junk magazines in order to research the function of transportation and we can say in advance in connection to architecture: transport effects the transformation of the transmitted. What is being transmitted, does not precede transmission, but is at once produced by transmission.”

Detailed list of world’s most junk magazines:
Esli (meaning ‘if’ in Russian) magazine, deals with topics of conspiracy theory. it is somehow involved with the Russian department of foreign affairs.
Fate is called the world’s leading magazine of the paranormal. it has published expert opinions and personal experiences relating to UFOs, psychic abilities, ghosts and hauntings, cryptozoology, alternative medicine, divination methods, belief in the survival of personality after death, Fortean phenomena, predictive dreams, mental telepathy, warnings of death, and other paranormal topics.
Galatasaray is a turkish magazine dealing with those topics of football that no other magazine deals with: aspects of aesthetics, top ten hits of DJ Hopdedik, history of the game, winner charts and prognosis, and the architecture of tactics.
Junk Jet is a rag and bone magazine. It is all about collecting architectures and turning them into something different. Or the other way round: collecting things from other disciplines and transforming them into architectures. Junk Jet is unpredictable, as it is released irregularly and as it varies in its format; every issue looks different and has diverse extras (audio-CDs, inserts, tattoos etc.). Their last issue is called “flux-us! flux-you!”, where they investigated flux in architecture.
Nicola is called a popular magazine from Japan dealing with lifestyle fashion around puberty. it also recognizes the rapidly growing popularity of food, setting fashions and trends that have great influence on girls. it is massively promoted by women-only clubs, by local programs, special editions, and shops.
Novosti Kosmonavtiki is the russian Magazine called “Space News” that covers the important events associated with the use of outer space and human space flight. it monitors the launch of artificial satellites and interplanetary vehicles. the magazine is consistently delivered on board of the International Space Station , where it is read by the astronauts .
Pet in the World. Dog Fans is a full-color journal on pet fashion from china. it is currently the only legal, specialized magazine eligible for the pet category. it Includes contributions relating to dog’s haircut, clothes, health, education and food.
Ptisi & Diatsima is a monthly magazine published in Greece. First published in November 1979, it is the oldest aviation and defense magazine in Greece. again we see the connection of jet and junk.
